Burnt petty cash

I don't even know what that means...Haa...But anyways, I am BROKE. Like B to the R to the O to the K to the E, yo!! You know, that kind of broke. When you only got like 50.000 Rupiahs (US$5 more or less) in your wallet until God knows when, you know you are broke...All you can do is lusting over some beautiful stuff you saw at shopping malls. Trying things on and not buying them. Oh, common...Don't be a hypocrite. I know you've been doing that too...
Anyways...I hit the mall yesterday. I was gonna eat some sushi with a friend. I take a while to do some window shopping. Until I saw a black blazer, boy blazer. I have been looking for a perfect one for quite sometime. And it's cheap! And I want it! But I'm BROKE!! Damn.

I know that maybe it's a little too late to start wearing a blazer or owning one. But the rainy season's starting. And it's a little bit windy at night. So a blazer could come in handy, don't you think??

Again, since it's rainy season. A jelly shoes won't hurt. Something that you can just easily wipe off after a walk in a wet sidewalks, with puddles everywhere. Simple, nice, and practical. And it made sense. I love Melissa's jelly shoes. They're so comfortable, and they have been working with Vivienne Westwood. And those jelly shoes, they look so yummy.

I also need a couple of accessories. Like sun glasses (you know, just incase after the rain comes the sun), beanie, scarf, and yada yada yada...

And lately, I have been eye-ing gold pieces jewelery. I don't know why, but they kinda makes me smile a little. Rings, Earrings, Necklaces, Bangles, Bracelets, anything. I love them. I collect them. I think they look classy, and yet edgy. They can make your whole outfit glows like you're wearing diamonds or some sort. Every time I do some window shopping, I make sure I went to see if they have jeweleries. And make sure I drool over some pieces that I want and make sure I'd come back to buy them.

'

I am also looking for some very nice grey or beige bag. Ugh, I really don't know how to save some money. I quit being a window shopper. I have to leave the mall empty handed, except with a full stomach and a little tipsy. That's one thing that I don't always like. Leaving the store empty handed. Well I'm off to bed now. I have to work tomorrow. And to my surprise, it will be a cash and carry. YEAY...Feel so good when you actually have some money. Hhhmm, I wonder, which one of the items will I buy?? Okay. I'm off to bed. Soon I will be dreaming about having all of it. YES, ALL OF IT...Too bad, it would be just a dream.................

I am soooo proud!!

I have been waiting to post my latest work, of which I assist as always, because the magazine is not out yet. And now that it's out, I am freee to post it. I am so proud of how it comes out. Zinnia Zubaida and I have been working on Swank Glossy's magazine cover, cover spread, and the look fashion spread for their pret-a-party issue or their November - December issue. We've been working with some amazing people for all of this project. I am so thrilled to let you all see how it comes out.
The photographer, Arseto Adiputra, is like one of the best young photographer that you can work with in Jakarta. He's been working for a lot of magazines here, and a couple magazines in South East Asia. He's super rad. You can check his works here.
The make up artist, Philip Kwok, is also one of the well known make up artist in Jakarta, if not in Indonesia. He's done a lot of works for a lot of magazine in Indonesia. His works is amazing.
The models, Cathy Sharon and Julie Estelle, are siblings. They are super pretty and super nice, not to mention stylish as well. Cathy ended up buying a couple of things from the shots, which is always a good thing for the stylist because then you know that what you pick is awesome.
Well, I don't wanna waste more time explaining about the shots. I'm just gonna post it. These are a couple photos from the cover spread.

Here is a couple of behind the scene's picture.

The happy and joyous team from Swank Glossy magazine + crews.

I was gonna post the pictures from the look fashion spread, but somehow I don't know where I put the files. It is lost somewhere in the system of my computer. But I promise, I will post it really soon.

Oh, and last but not least...I am happy to announce that I will be joining the Swank Glossy Magazine's team starting November '09. Permanently. Double YEAY!! So, if you'll excuse me. I am off to prepare a couple of things for my first day at Swank Glossy.

Ooops...My bad...

Sorry for the late post, but I have been doing some work and now that it's done...I wanted to show you my recent work, of which I assist my dear friend, for A+ Magazine for their August Issue a while back. I haven't been posting it because I kinda forgot the name of the photographer. I am really and truly sorry for that Mr. Lucky...You are a wonderful photographer, but I do have problems remembering names. My bad...

I am sorry for the short explanation, lately I seem to have problem finding the right word to say to people. And to my surprise, I've become a lot more quieter than usual. I have lost my touches. And if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go find it back...

April 2 might be a lousy day if it wasn't for you, Penny Lane...

I’ll have to make do with what we have. That’s a tough word. I felt like I was in a test in which if I failed, I wouldn’t graduate and I haven’t felt like that in quite some time and was planning on keeping it that way for a much longer time. But what can I do, eh? What we have is actually boy’s clothing. A blazer, a black hoodie, a black shirt, and a couple T-shirts are the only thing I could find. Aha, it’s easy. I made my already beautiful friend into a very beautiful rebel who is ready to gives you a slap in the face or spank you in the butt. That was fun. I had fun. Even though I woke up that morning with a massive hangover from Lala's surprise party the night before. I went home smiling and feeling quiet knackered at the same time that today. It is the perfect time to end the day. Light it up and pass it over. BLACK OUT!!

These were my favorite. I love how she captured the attitude I am aiming for. Thank you, LALA.

Ps. Peny Pujiati is a massively talented photographer. Thanks for making my portfolio a lot better with these pictures. I heart you, my dearest Penny Lane.

A rack of dreamy shoes

Shoes has been my obsession for as long as I remembered. It's been on my mind, and will stay there for the rest of my life. Shoes, unlike anything else in my closet, is something I cherished and wear with pride every time I walked out of the house. I think shoes is the best accessories a women can have to complement their whole outfit and it can make a statement on its own. As a woman who love shoes, I think I share the same thought that you can NEVER have enough shoes, ever.
These are the shoes that I've been eye-ing for...I probably won't have enough money to purchase one, let alone all of them. I don't know why most of it is in black, but mostly because I think black shoes will never get out of fashion, and it can get away with anything.

Oh wait, it's not just women's shoes. I love men's shoes too. If only they have it in my size, I'd probably own at least one of them. But you can't have it all, right?? darn it!

Can you see why I love them? I can't wait to shovel this shoes to my boyfriend's throat (if only I have one)...HA....

If I was blessed with countless money, I have no doubt that my closet will be filled with these amazing shoes and most likely to keep it there until they are no longer usable.

You can click here for where I found all this mouth watering shoes. Now, I'm going to day dream about having them all, and how I would wear them...I swear it gives me chills just talking about it. Soo, I'm gonna let you do the same....

But before I go off to another dimension...I would like to share THIS.

The Mother of all shoes. THIS is from Alexander Mcqueen's Paris Spring 2010 Fashion Show. I have nothing left to say. THIS would be the perfect shoes to wear to my futuristic theme halloween party, no?? All I can think of is how beautiful an alien could be walking around in this shoes...Hhh...
